Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups or 900g sliced apples about 4-5 apples
  • 1 tablespoon or 15ml lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup or 60ml maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon or 5g ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon or 1.25g ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon or 1.25g salt

For the Crisp Topping:

  • 1 cup or 100g rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup or 60g almond flour
  • 1/4 cup or 60ml maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup or 60ml coconut oil solid state
  • 1/2 teaspoon or 2.5g ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon or 1.25g salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, lemon juice, maple syrup, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and salt. Toss until the apples are well coated. Transfer the apple mixture to the greased baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, prepare the crisp topping. Mix together the rolled oats, almond flour, maple syrup, coconut oil, ground cinnamon, and salt. Use a fork or your hands to blend until you have a crumbly mixture.
  • Spread the crisp topping evenly over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
  • Allow the apple crisp to cool slightly before serving.
