Ingredients
Patties:
- 1 cup cooked lentils or chickpeas mashed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup grated onion
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp water flax egg
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper to taste
Big Mac Sauce:
- ¼ cup vegan mayo
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 2 tsp ketchup
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp finely diced pickles
- Pinch of garlic powder
Assembly:
- 2 sesame seed burger buns
- Lettuce shredded
- Pickles sliced
- Vegan cheddar cheese slices
- Onions diced
Instructions
- Mix flaxseed with water to make a flax egg. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Combine mashed lentils/chickpeas, breadcrumbs, onion, paprika, flax egg, salt, and pepper to form burger patties. Fry in a pan until golden on both sides.
- Mix all the sauce ingredients together.
- Toast the buns. Spread Big Mac sauce on both sides. Add the patties, vegan cheese, lettuce, pickles, and onions. Serve and enjoy!
